What is Time Tracking?
Time Tracking in Bezala allows employees to log their working hours and absences using the web or mobile app. The main goal is to show your work time balance — how much time you've worked compared to how much you're obligated to work.
How Time Balance Works
Your time balance is calculated using:
Work Time Balance = Hours Worked − Hours Required to Work
To calculate this accurately, the system needs to know:
How much you're supposed to work (defined by work-time calendars)
When you're not supposed to work (public holidays)
When you're not going to work (vacations, sick leaves, other absences)
When you've actually worked (time entries)
Key Features
Time Entries: Log your daily working hours, including start time, end time, and breaks. You can also track billable hours for project work.
Absences: Request and manage vacations, sick leave, and other types of leave. View your remaining vacation days and track approval status.
Time Balance: See your current balance at a glance — whether you've worked more or fewer hours than expected.
Flex Time & Overtime: If enabled, extra hours can be compensated as flex time (time off later) or paid overtime.
Who Can Use Time Tracking?
Time Tracking must be enabled for your company by an administrator. Once activated, all employees can:
