How to find your card:
Your Bezala Card can be virtual or physical. The information of your Bezala Card(s) can be found in the Bezala mobile app, in the Wallet section.
Currently as a Bezala Card user, you will be sent a link from Pliant, when your employer issues the first Bezala Card to you. Make sure that you have 5-10 minutes to spare, so links will not be outdated.
Do this in Pliant first, before going to Bezala App:
Click on the link Pliant sent to your email. This link works within 24h after it has been sent. You will have to ask your employer's card issuer to resend Pliant invite if link is outdated.
Create a password for your user account.
Login into Pliant and fill in your mobile phone number.
You will be sent a text message with a code. Insert code in Pliant. The code will be outdated after 5 minutes, so make sure that you do this step promptly.
Now you can go to Bezala mobile app.
Find card and card’s pin in Bezala Wallet:
Login to mobile app.
Click on the “card icon” -button in the upper right-hand corner. This is the Wallet section of the Bezala app. The Wallet-section is protected by biometric login (i.e. face recognition or fingerprint login).
All your Bezala Cards are shown in the Wallet-section. Click on the correct card (if you have several cards to choose from) and then click “Show card details”.
Now click "See PIN code" (in picture marked with blue). Observe that only the physical Bezala Card has a pin code, and it is not possible to change it.
Security: if you fear that a Bezala Card’s information has been compromised, you can lock the card in the Wallet-section by opening the card details and clicking “Lock card”. No transactions can be made with a locked Bezala Card. You can unlock a card by clicking "Unlock card". The card in the picture is unlocked (marked with green).
Pay with Bezala Card:
You have to add a virtual Bezala Card to Google Wallet/Apple Pay to pay with it.
The physical card can be used physically (chip transaction) with the pin code or by adding it to Google Wallet/Apple Pay.
The physical Bezala Card
It takes around 1-2 weeks for the physical Bezala Card to arrive at your employer’s address.
A Bezala user can only have one physical Bezala Card.
The physical card is visible in the Bezala Wallet and it can also be added to Google Wallet or Apple Pay.
It is not possible to change the pin code.
A physical Bezala Card is the only option for people with phones who do not support a biometric login set up.
A physical card can be used physically (chip transaction) or with Google Wallet/Apple Pay.
Virtual Bezala Cards
Virtual cards work instantly after your employer has issued the card for you.
You can find your virtual cards in the Bezala mobile app in the Wallet section (card icon button in the upper right-hand corner in the app).
Virtual cards have no pin codes. T
he same Bezala user can have an unlimited amount of virtual Bezala Cards.
To pay with a virtual card you need to add it to Google Wallet or Apple Pay.
Missing receipt notification visible on the home screen of the app in real time:
When you have made a purchase, the purchase details will be visible in the Bezala app in real time.
Click on the notification visible on the home screen of the Bezala app to add the missing information.
Some of it will already be prefilled from the Bezala Card transaction, but the app will first ask you to take a picture of the receipt.
Check that all of the information is correct and send the receipt and receipt form for approval by clicking "Send".
Bezala Wallet secured by biometric login
Most smartphones support biometric login. The first time you use the Wallet-section of Bezala you need to set up the biometric login. Follow the instructions on your phone. For security reasons we do not support Wallet-section of the Bezala app for phones, which cannot support biometric login. The physical Bezala Card is still an option for people, who do not have biometric login possibilities on their phone. The person will unfortunately be unable to access Bezala Wallet, but the missing receipts notifications will still be visible on the app's home screen.
Q&A: The transaction was denied
The Bezala Cards are globally accepted (200 countries, 40 million merchants worldwide) and they are Visa Platinum Business cards.
If the transaction was denied, it will most likely be for one of the following reasons:
Wrong pin used in card transaction. Login to Bezala Wallet and make sure you are using the correct card pin (click on the button marked with blue in the example picture). Only physical cards have pin codes.
Your card is locked. Check if card is locked in Bezala Wallet. If this is the case, you can click "Unlock card" in Bezala Wallet (the card is unlocked in the picture below, button marked with green). Now the card should work.
The card's available balance/transaction limit did not cover the price of the transaction, i.e. not enough money left on the card (in example 113,33€ available marked with red) (or transaction limit of card is smaller than price of transaction). You can see the available balance/transaction limit of the card by opening the card's details in the Bezala Wallet (marked with red/orange in picture below). Contact your company's finance team to increase balance (or transaction limit) of your Bezala Card, if the transaction is necessary. The Bezala support team does not have the right to increase your card's available balance/transaction limit.
The merchant/country is not covered by the card provider (unlikely). Nothing we can do about this.
