When your company has been approved in the onboarding process, it is time to start issuing cards to your employees. Currently we are working with Pliant and using their web portal to issue Bezala Cards.

In Pliant every new cardholder needs a person with an "Owner" user role to fill in 2 forms in the following order: 1) Invite member and 2) Issue new card.

Here is a step-by-step guide to issue a new card:

  1. Login to Pliant. The person who went through the KYC-process in the onboarding process, should have received a Pliant email invite. Pro tip: Send first invite to the person, who is going to be the company's primary card issuer and give this person the "Owner" user role (see 3a down below).

  2. The dashboard view is the home page. Click “Invite member”-button in the upper right-hand corner.

  3. Fill in the invite member and issue new card forms. You can do this in one-go by starting with "Invite member" form.

Note! Invite email will be sent to employee. The employee has 24h to accept invite, before it is outdated. See how to resend invite in section below.

3a) Invite member form:

  • Write the same email address that the employee uses in Bezala.

  • Choose a member role for the employee.

    • Cardholder: if the employee only needs to use cards, then this is the correct role.

    • Owner: This role gives the person the right to issue (and terminate) cards for him/herself and other people.

    • Auditor: Can view all cards and transactions but not invite members or issue new cards.

  • Remember to click “Yes” for the question “Issue a card for the member”.

  • Once you have filled in the form, click “Send invite”. This will lead you to the new card form.

3b) Issue new card form:

If the person has been invited it is time to fill in the "issue new card" form.

  • Choose the employee you want to give the card to in the dropdown menu.

  • Choose card:

    • Virtual: This card can be used for e-commerce transactions. One Bezala user can have many cards if needed (e.g. project 1, project 2).

    • Single-Use Virtual: As the name suggests this card is only usable for one transaction. One Bezala user can have many cards if needed.

    • Physical: This card can be used for all types of transactions. There can only be one physical card per Bezala user.

  • Fill in limits and validity (3 months – 36 months).

    • Limit: Card limit according to chosen frequency (monthly, quarterly, annual or total). The maximum limit varies between different companies according to limit set in contract made during onboarding process.

    • Transaction limit: Limit for one transaction, can be set to the same amount as “Limit”.

  • Card controls are optional. You can e.g. allow/block employees from using cards in different ways (categories, merchants, dates, times, locations).

  • Card attributes are available for virtual and single-use virtual cards. Here you can label the card and choose the color of the card.

  • Make sure everything is correct in the summary section.

  • Lastly click “Issue card”.

Virtual cards are usable instantly, the physical card will be sent to the address the company gave in the onboarding process, usually within 1-2 weeks.

Outdated invites: How to resend invite:

  1. Login to Pliant web version.

  2. Click on “Members”-button in the main menu on the left-hand side.

  3. Click on relevant member’s name.

  4. Click on “Resend invite”.
