Why settings in your profile affects your reimbursement

Make sure your profile is up to date with your mandatory information, so your reimbursements will go through.

  • Your nationality

  • Bank account information (IBAN & BIC) needs to be correct and in the correct format.

  • SSN information: mandatory for users in Finland (Social Security number) and Sweden (Personal ID number). This information is necessary for the government reporting integration (FIN: Income register, SWE: Skatteverket).

Are you using the Reward feature in Bezala?

Make sure you add your tax card to Bezala so your Rewards are taxed accurately. This can only be done in the web version of the user profile by clicking "Upload tax card".

Things you can change in your user profile

Some settings can only be edited in the web version of Bezala.

  • Personal Information: Name, email, phone number, Bezala language. Email is used for login and notifications.

  • Address: Home address, which may be used as the default starting point for mileage claims.

  • Bank Account: IBAN and BIC for receiving reimbursements. Some countries (Sweden) also support bank account number and clearing number.

  • Add your tax card if you use the Bezala Reward expense claims (see above).

  • Country and Nationality: Used for per diem calculations and tax reporting. Country determines which per diem rates apply.

  • Social Security Number (SSN): Required for income register reporting in Finland and Skatteverket reporting in Sweden. Stored securely and only visible to authorized administrators.

  • Default Expense Values: Set default payment method, expense account and cost center to speed up expense submission.

  • Email reminders: Click the box to allow email reminders, unclick it to stop them.

  • Vacation Settings: You can set your vacation stand-in-user. This is useful for people who work as approvers for a team during their vacation season.
