Bezala has possibility to assist you with emission calculations. It is possible to define a emissions specified mileage options for users, where they can choose which fuel does their vehicle use. This can be enabled in company settings with beta tester-role. If needed you can contact our support to help with enabling it.
Bezala multiplies the distance by the CO2e/km coefficient published by Defra.
The emissions coefficients that we use to calculate are the following:
Type | Emission factor, kgCO2e/km, 2022 | Emission factor, kgCO2e/km, 2023 | Source |
| 0.17048 | 0.163909 | Defra 2023 |
| 0 | 0 | Defra 2023 |
| 0.12004 | 0.1189 | Defra 2023 |
|
| 0.06542 | Defra 2023 |
| 0.17067 | 0.166639 | Defra 2023 |
| 0.17082414 | 0.169826 | Defra 2023 |
| 0 | 0 | Defra 2023 |
It is also possible to define suitable conditional fields behind an account in Bezala. On the conditional fields the users are able to choose from predefined options or they can freely enter text. These can also assist with emission calculations.
In order for these options to be visible to the users, you need to set the conditional fields behind an account for example "Flight tickets". Conditional fields are visible by default when editing the selected account.
Below is the file where you can find examples of the conditional fields and from here you can copy-paste the options:
